SOME ISSUES ON GATEWAY 3DS YOU SHOULD KNOW

Well,Now let’s go to the issues on gateway 3ds,And how to solve it.I would like to talk about that from Omega v2.1 to the latest version Omega 2.3.

OMEGA 2.1

I remember lots of guys are excited when Omega 2.1 first released.For the multi-rom ,they could play dumped eshop games.No one could wait for that,just like kids cry for the muilk.However it is still a little bugs there.The FPGA was updated making the card more stable and it is harder for conlone cards to update.After you updated it,It could no longer go back to the older firmwares version.Then you need to keep an eys for these.

Issues included were some 1.2 saves which were no longer recongnized and some guys had to restart games.It is still could not work with Youtube.It may fail for FPGA update.It may be the result of poor card to pin contact or poor soldering on the FPGA.You console may freeze and some games on a fat or exfat formatted micro sd could not be recongnized.This release is compatible all the way up to 7.2,but you can no longer access setting or eshop.

OMEGA 2.2

With this version,you can play roms online by changing the file name to .3dz and injecting a header or dumping a legitimate copy of the game which would include the hearder.It also supports homebrew support.

And the following issues may stay in some few cards:Persistent bugs since 1.0.When you play games with gateway,it tends to drain your battery a little faster than normal.This is on indication if you don’t know much about flashcarts that your flashcart has its own seperate cup which makes it use extra power.This CPU can overheat and cause console freeze.

OMEGA 2.3

Omega 2.3 has been released just a few days ago.And since it has been released,it received lot of positive feedback.It supports Emunand v8.1,eshop games and so on.With this update,it brings the game compatibility back to 100%.

Here are some bugs they still need time to solve:
1.The Gameboy Advance virtual console games and DSiWare are not working yet.They will try to get it working after the next firmware realese,Let us just wait for few days.
2.Emunand 8.x boots up slower.The official team have obeserved this too for some brands of SD cards.They suggest the users to try a different brand or a faster SD card.
